Hi everyone… welcome to my blog. Here, I love talking about Information Technology, more so about Computer and Information security, my area of specialization.
I hold a Bachelors degree from Florida Institute of Technology and am doing my part time Masters in Computer Science from the same school.
I am working full time for a company which shall remain unnamed(corporate policy) where I work as a Security Analyst. My daily tasks include in the simplest of terms, keeping hackers away, write security tools and security testing of internal applications and sometimes external applications which my company “churns” out at a pretty rapid pace.
I discovered quite a few critical vulnerabilities in open source applications such as Firefox, Thunderbird. I also won couple of Hacking and Security contests and Capture the flag contents at DEFCON and Black Hat Security Conventions. I am also a certified Pen tester and a Microsoft Certified Solutions Engineer and a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator in Security.
