Follow up conversation with the London based Nigerian Spammer
Spammer Watch : DAY # 1
So, I followed up with our London based Nigerian spammer by emailing him that I am indeed interested in proceeding with this “financial transaction”. I pretend to be a Mr. Brandon Hurley based in the UK. So, here is my first email to Mr. Peter Fischer, our friendly neighbourhood spammer

Spammer Watch : Day # 2
So, within 7 hours, I get an email from Mr.Fischer thanking me for my interest. This is starting to get interesting.

So, now I reply back to him. My motive is try to extract some more information out of him. I am bringing in my mother trying to convince him that I am some middle aged guy, living with my mother. Also, I missspell his name to Fisher instead of Fischer, besides making his last name, my middle name to see if he sees something wierd. I now want to see if he will correct me or update his name to dance to my whims or just go along.

Spammer Watch : Day # 3
So, the spammer did not notice the name inclusion/ error and decided to send me his contact information and asking me to send my information. What do you guys think on how I should reply back?

Spammer Watch Day # 4
I wanted to deal with this guy straight up now. So I try to confront him with the possibility that this might be a scam designed to dupe people. So I write him pretending as if I am confused because one of “buddies” working in IT told me that this is a scam. I wanted to see the reaction of the spammer after this.

Spammer Watch Day # 5
The spammer doesn’t reply for a whole day. I thought he called it off with me and decided to ignore me. But, I was surprised by his email again. Notice that this email has broken English with a lot of spelling mistakes unlike the earlier ones which appear to be pre-formatted messages with minor name changes.

Ok, I think you should start off by asking what kind of “information” he wants. Lets see how he reacts back. Maybe use that information
