This spam message is from the Microsoft Award Team congratulating me on winning the Microsoft Lottery Award. It included a serial number, my lottery ticket number and also my lottery ticket winning numbers which were 14, 21, 25, 39, 40, 47 with the special number being 20. I also won £1,350,000.00 or 1 Million and three hundred and fify thousand Great Britain pounds as one of the 5 jackpot winners in this draw.
I have been assigned a fiduciary agent, a Dictor Greg Thomas, for claiming my reward who is based in the U.K and has the Email address : dictor_greg_thomas@katamail.com and a UK telephone number: +44 7 031 948 758.
The Email is also from a Bryan McDonald of the Microsoft Promotion Team who is also a Vice President at Microsoft. Her email address is not as everyone would imagine, based on the microsoft.com domain but a globedraw010@hotmail.com

I have received the same email, with the same numbers (serial numbers, lucky numbers, batch numbers) asking for the same information in the same order. The only difference is the contact person and the contact email directions. I repplied to that email and it said that i had to pay 500 to claim my prize. I suspect its a fraud and am doing further reasearch since the companies the e mail mentions do exist.
I receive an email with the same numbers but from a diffrent name. This is the message I received:

To Ankita, as indicated in this post and in my earlier comments, this is an elaborate scam. These kind of scams operate out of Nigeria which is the reason why the scammer is informing you that you fall in this zone. Please do not reply or mail them any kind of information. Even if you don’t mail them your financial information, if you give out any personal information like name and address, the scammers use if for identity theft.

I just recently got one from an older lady saying she had 6mo. to live and wanted me to have her money when she died. To good to be true? I agree. If it sounds to good to be true, It probly is.

I just received something that I think must be the same scam, but mine is much briefer and doesn’t include any lottery #’s. Unbelievable they’re using Microsoft’s name and this hasn’t hit mainstream news yet! What even sadder is that some people don’t know any better and provide these scammers with their personal info, and possibly even money to claim their “prize”. Shame, shame….
